  • * Fernanda Romero transferred from Latin America to the United States co-starring with Jessica Alba the Lionsgate’s horror movie, THE EYE, and in Mexico she captured the look of millions with his character of 'Antonia' in ETERNAMENTE TUYA.
    Born in Mexico City, Fernanda started her career as singer being part of the sensational youth group Fryzzby by BMG, and though after she walked away from the stages to study Fashion Design, her destiny was in front of the cameras. At the end of her career she got the opportunity to be the host of the popular show “Control” of Univision and at the end of it, participated with Telemundo in “La Ley del Silencio”. After a while, Fernanda ventured into movies with roles in independent films such as the horror film CREATURE OF DARKNESS with the actor Matthew Lauwrence (“The Hot Chick”), and comedies WANNA BE ME with Shalim Ortiz (“Heroes”) and READY OR NOT with Alex Rocco (“Smokin’ Aces”).
    The production that raised her career to another level was THE EYE with Jessica Alba from which Fernanda got involved in Hollywood big budget films including THE BURNING PLAIN from the director Guillermo Arriaga, where she acts next to the actress Charlize Theron. Also in DRAG ME TO HELL by avowed director Sam Raimi, RED CANVAS with Maria Conchita Alonso and ONCE FALLEN with Ed Harris.

    In 2009 Fernanda participated in his first soap opera in Mexico, where she played the female main character in ETERNAMENTE TUYA of TV Azteca. In the spring of 2011, she got the principal female role in the first bilingual series on American television, RPM MIAMI, produced by Telemundo Studios that was transmited on NBC channel, mun2. In the summer of 2011, the actress shared the big screen in the U.S. with Eva Longoria and Christian Slater in the movie WITHOUT MEN. And also joined the cast of the film EL FANTÁSTICO MUNDO DE JUAN OROL, based on the life of filmmaker Juan Orol, in which plays Dinorah Judith, his third wife.
    One more of her films is PENDEJO, in which shares credits with Danny Trejo, Raja Fenske, among others. Continuing with her participations in films, she shot MISSION PARK, with Vivica A. Fox, this film has performed in several festivals and has won awards for "Best Film at Hispanicize in Miami", "Best Film at Worldfest in Houston", "Best Film and Best Director at the Boston International Film Festival," among others. NUMBER RUNNER, her first british production with star Jon-Paul Gates, FIGHTER'S CHANCE with the ex-boxer Evander Holyfield and the pilot of NBC COUNTY with Aimee Garcia and Jason Ritter. Coming soon will be filming on the set alongside the Oscar winner, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Christian Serratos, participating in BROKEN DOLL of the film director Trudy Sargent.

    To continue with the growth of her career, Fernanda filmed GHOST TEAM ONE, which has been a big hit at film festivals in the United States, as in Slamdance Film Festival, Florida Film Festival and soon at the Newport Beach Film Festival. She also is part of the film 3 GEEZERS in which she appears next to renowned actors like J.K. Simmons, Tim Allen, Scott Cann.
    Besides all the movies, Fernanda joined in the series “Chamacas” of the entertainment hispanic channel Nuevon, which belongs to the famous latin actress Sofía Vergara.

    Among the variety of projects that Fernanda has been involved, includes her work with the famous Spanish brand MANGO in QueMePongoByMango.com campaign and his recent participations in the music videos "Just One Breath" by Jeremy Carr, "People VIP" of the popular singer Larry Hernandez and “No te quiero ver con él” of Frankie J.

    Fernanda now resides in Los Angeles where in addition as her work as an actress, produces and sings in her band WHITE CHERRIES.
