Joel grew up in Fulham, London where he attended Holland Park School till the age of 16 where he left to learn the trade of carpet fitting. This lasted for 3 and a half years. Joel has had a few different types of work over the years but one of the first highlights was working in Pure Groove Records for a number of years, also whilst DJ'ing in all the big clubs in and around London under the name 'DJ LICK'. Producing a number of tracks in the HardHouse genre. At the age of 30 Joel put himself back through college to learn the trade of plumbing after the advice of his father and still does to this day. At the age of 47 after always wanting to act, Joel thought he would try some Extra/Supporting Artist work to see if he liked it and he was right, he loved it from the first time and still continues to, being on over 80 different productions in the last 4 and a half years.(2021.) Joel continues to keep his hand in both worlds.
