Raúl Acosta's passion for storytelling began at the age of 9, when he won his first fiction writing competition. By 19, he was already pursuing filmmaking while navigating the challenges of being a young father. His short film, El Consultorio, won 1st place in the 48 Hour Film Project, leading him to Filmapalooza in Paris. In New York, Raúl earned multiple nominations-Best Film, Best Editing, and Best Directing-among 50 participants in another 48 Hour Film Project.

With expertise spanning from advertising and digital marketing to fiction films, Raúl is a versatile Creative Director known for his innovative storytelling. Currently (2024) he is in pre-production for a new short film while also developing other artistic projects, including the publication of his first novelette.
