  • * Michele Noble is a director, writer and producer for film, theatre and television. She graduated from the University of Southern California's premier film school and also attended Oxford University for a semester where she studied English Literature. Ms. Noble has been a life long activist for social justice and most recently stood in solidarity with the Standing Rock Sioux Nation as she participated and filmed the water protectors' peaceful protests against the North Dakota pipeline. Ms. Noble has also written several articles with Christopher Darden regarding race and justice for the Daily Beast.
    Currently, she is producing and directing a documentary on Standing Rock. In 2015, Ms. Noble wrote the psychological thriller, Torch, a feature film which was shot on location in Belize. Also in 2015, Ms. Noble was honored with the Best Director Award from the Roving Eye Film Festival for her feature length documentary film, Journey 4 Artists, featuring actor, activist and folksinger, Theodore Bikel. In 2014, Journey 4 Artists won the Grand Prize at the Rhode Island Film Festival. In 2013, Journey 4 Artists had its world premiere at Academy Award winning producer, Branko Lustig's prestigious, Festival of Tolerance in Zagreb, Croatia. In 1990, Ms. Noble won honors at France's Deauville Film Festival as a director for the feature film, Runaway Dreams written by award winning writer, John Hopkins (Smiley's People, Thunderball).
    Over the years, Ms. Noble has done work as a director and screenwriter for independent producers at Lionsgate, Tri-Star, and Fox Searchlight as well as studio producers and executives at Universal, Warner Bros., and Paramount studios. She has also written original screenplays of various genres including having adapted Benjamin Tamuz's celebrated book, The Minotaur for award wining Israeli director, Eli Cohen.
    Ms. Noble has also directed stage plays such as "Drum Roll, Please" by Marty Axelrod, produced in Los Angeles, "The Value of Names" by Jeffrey Sweet produced in Westport, CT and "The Second Coming" written and directed by Noble produced in London. She is a member of Rising Phoenix Repertory, an award winning NY theatre company founded by playwright, Daniel Talbott.
    In addition, Ms. Noble served as the associate producer/director on Emmy award winning documentaries for network television which dealt with topics such as teenage alcoholism, poverty and aging. She has also worked as an assistant director, 2nd unit director and film editor on independent feature films guiding many first time directors through the nuts and bolts of filmmaking.
    In 2003, she formed Noble Alberghetti Films with her producing partner, Paul Alberghetti. Since then they have developed several film and television projects such as the feature screenplays, Fallen Eagle with Peabody award winner producer/writer, Ronald D. Moore and No Good Deed with Emmy Award winning actor/producer Noah Wyle (ER). Most recently, Noble and Alberghetti produced together the documentary, Journey 4 Artists and the experimental film, New York Summer Project. New York Summer Project, a fifty minute experimental film which Ms. Noble wrote, produced and directed attracted a remarkable cast of well known actors such as Kathryn Erbe, (Law and Order: Criminal Intent) Adam Rothenberg, (Ripper Street) James Roday, (Psyche) Gale Harold, (Queer as Folk) Merritt Wever, (Nurse Jackie) Jennifer Carpenter (Dexter) and Curtis Cook (The Sopranos). New York Summer Project is based on Michele Noble's feature length screenplay, the Revolution, which she intends to direct and produce with Alberghetti next year.
    Ms. Noble is member of both the Directors Guild of America and the Writers Guild of America.
