    A THUMB NAIL SKETCH:

Randall studied drama, vocal and instrumental music in his original home
town of Santa Barbara, California, performing in school, rep and summer
stock productions since age 13, mainly musical comedies. Emigrated to
Australia by himself in 1973 at age 19 "on a lark" to follow close
childhood chum, actor Lance Strauss (Elton Jack, Chucky). Broadened into
more dramatic roles, as well as establishing himself as a professional
writer. Married to drama educator Helen Sandercoe since 1977. They have
settled in Melbourne and have three creative and intelligent daughters,
Sarah (25) and Rebekah (23) and Matilda (15). As well as being a character
actor who is always too fat and too American, Randall has been an award-
winning copywriter and freelance scriptwriter for various advertising and
multi-media production companies. Finally making headway as a feature film
screenwriter with the option of his fifth effort.
