    Quest III: Great Expeditions-Quest for Africa. The Jade Sea is an
    expedition from Zanzibar to the desolate reaches of Northern Kenya
    following the path of Samuel Teleki and Ludwig Von Hohnel. The Unknown
    Desert retraces a camel caravan journey of Donaldson Smith doing dramatic
    re-enactments of the trip and an actual 10-hour climb on foot to the spring
    of El Kajarta Gorge. Battling the Bundu was an 1892 expedition of William
    Astor Chanler from the island of Lamu to the northern interior region of
    what is now Shaba and the Ewaso Nyeri River. American on Safari is the
    story of Theodore Roosevelt and his historic 1909 African safari. We also
    bring to light Ernest Hemingway's arrival in Africa in 1933 as we venture
    across the plains of the Serengeti to Kenya's Kimana Preserve which is
    under the shadow of Mt. Kilimanjaro. River of No Return is the story of
    Scottish explorer Mungo Park. We relive Park's terrifying attacks by
    natives and more dramatic re-enactments. In Search of Timbuktu is the story
    of Rene Caillie's solo journey and successful trek across the Sahara Desert
    that made him the first European to have seen Timbuktu and return to tell
    the tale. Wings Over Africa is the story of how aircraft were first used in
    East Africa for both wildlife surveillance and filmmaking and how aircraft
    today play an important role in bringing life-saving services to both
