A young girl, Darla (Didi) Hamilton leaves her conservative family for college and meets a young and rebellious 'hippie', named John Spitzer. John exposes her to the world of drugs, change, and rebellion. Unfortunately after Didi falls in love with John, he gets drafted to Vietnam, and he has no choice but to go. Once John comes back, he completely changes as a person: he is depressed and has fallen out of love. In the end, Didi and John have basically switched personalities: Didi is now the radical hippie, and John is now the serious and somber one. Written by Anonymous See less
