Jackee is getting ready to pass the entrance exam for an American school, a career in the US being its best shot as a black actor. As she feels unable to make plans for the future, Nais lets herself be carried by frivolity and burns her candle at both ends. In a world plagued by insecurity, where dreaming has become a subversive act, Nais, Jean and Jackee will have to face the reality of their desires, each one in their own way.
