Ashley says that she has to let people help, but she doesn't want to show her fear. Jimmy offers to pay for Edna's new door and the damage inside, but Edna insists on it being a loan as she is too proud. Edna agrees to stay with Jimmy and Nicola. Nicola is unimpressed to have her there and Edna is feeling very out of place. Rachel debates calling Sam, but decides against it. not long afterwards she is surprised when an Samson knocks on her door upset. She lets him in but he asks her not to tell his dad. Rachel tries to talk to Samson tell him it wasn't his fault about her and Sam. She takes Samson home but Sam is angry that Rachel had not called him sooner. Sam tells Rachel to stay away and Rachel leaves. Later Sam wonders if he's overreacted when Zak suggests that Rachel was just trying to help. Sam visits Rachel and says he wishes he'd sent her the card, instead of Samson and they kiss . Gennie and Nikhil apologize to Brenda but she is worried about something she has read in a medical encyclopaedia. Chas agrees to give Thomas a job at the pub. See less
