Nonetheless they reconcile and resume their family life. Gavin is charged with attacking Ian but is annoyed with Harriet when she visits. With Ian moving to a rural parish Harriet must choose where her future lies and tells Gavin to grow up as she will be seeing him no more. Francesca is arrested and bailed for the murder of Chris Pearson,only to find that the Pearson gang have kidnapped Lauren. She goes to see DCI Fontaine to explain about the money scams but in the meantime Paul has sent a message to Matt,who is now dating Aisling and dissuading her from leaving for London.
