American Buisnessman and Chairman, Benedict Power, has surprised the fans, staff, and players alike by appointing eccentric ex-player and club caretaker, Dougie Christmas, to take charge of this weeks game. Dougie's love for town and club is unsurpassed but will this be enough to win the seasons biggest cup tie? As the match looms we meet a wide range of the club's characters ; club captain and should-be manager Steve Miller, team hard man Spud and his sidekick Tom, tannoy announcer and bigot Joe Malloy, blind physio Keith Funnell and Peter Philpott, the club's self appointed number one fan.
