His abusive father embitters the melancholic, inhibited boy's life. No wonder he escapes from reality into daydreams. His favorite hideaway is the flat roof of their building where he used to flee by night to spy on the stars with his binoculars. During one of his trips he discovers a creature living on the roof. He gets in touch with it. The creature claims to be the Lord of the Block. Sitting enthroned on the roof, it manipulates the lives of people staying in the building. The Lord of the Block causes trouble and bad luck, generates fights and bad feelings between people as this being feeds on the negative energies of humans. The boy understands the creature's evil intentions, he stands up against the Lord who gets more and more power over the lives of our hero and his beloved ones.
