The relationship with her grandmother is very strained to say the least. The girl cannot wait for her grandmother to die so she can inherit her grandmother's fortune. She reckons the old dear will live about another 30 years or so. She is a clever girl who has read a lot about the law and has found out that a person under the age of 16, who has committed murder, will only get sent to a juvenile prison.
