Max plans to open a ...See morePushy local boy made good Max Burr returns home to Sugartown,the run-down seaside resort where his brother Jason,soon to marry Emily,daughter of mayor Ron,is trying to stop his ailing rock factory from going under. Max plans to open a casino and buy the debt-ridden factory,displeasing the staff. Then they learn that Sugartown was once the ballroom dance capital of the North and persuade ex-dancer Sam to open a dance academy. Sam's dizzy daughter Carmen accidentally sabotages both Max and Jason's attempts to impress the same investor but suggests another means of saving Sugartown - by manufacturing the famous old sweets that once made the town famous.
