Helen re-appears and abducts the Winters' son but when M.J. tracks her down, Helen drops a bombshell as to the real relationship between Jenny and herself. Amy tries to find Polly, missing friend of elderly Beth, an ex-policewoman who comes across as very articulate but in reality is lonely and looking for attention since Polly is long dead. Jason makes his peace with Mr. Beckett and is cleared of causing Lee's death but is still held back from promotion whilst Amy is sent on a career-enhancing course.
