She tells him that she is no longer blinded by love and sees him for the manipulative, ruthless man he really is. Diane informs Jack that she spilled the truth about Victor to Ashley. Jack correctly assumes that Diane was only looking for a clear field with Victor. When Sharon finally confesses that she doesn't trust her anymore because of her partnership with Michael, Chris angrily walks out of Crimson Lights. Michael is about to call Alice when Nick barges into his office ordering him to stay clear of Alice. Later, Michael calls Alice but holds back the fact that Sharon and Nick are planning to adopt Cassie. Upon Mary's urging Paul tells Chris not to beat herself up over Nick and Sharon's reaction and urges her to move on. Neil asks Olivia to reconsider.
