But a displeased Tara wouldn't agree to deferring the surgery and replaced him with Joseph as Lucy's condition started deteriorating. Joseph tried his best, but he was not up to the task and thus forced Elliot to face up to his fears and he finally stepped in to save the day and Lucy. Meanwhile, Donna had to make the decision to turn off her father's life support when tests showed that his condition had not improved and was unlikely to. Elsewhere, following an erroneous email from Oliver to Chrissie and which was meant for Penny, Chrissie put Oliver through hoops in his evaluations.
