The general is too afraid of Saw Boss and Jayce persuades Zhest's son to join the fight. Saw Boss poisons the water of the planet making everyone sick and weak, and he makes a deal with General Zhest: use the commandos to bring him Jayce and in return Zhest will win a battle against Monster Minds and regain the respect of his men. Zhest leads Jayce into a trap saying Audric is injured in an old fort; but Zhest saves his son's life on the way and his courage returns. He exposes Saw Boss and the Monster Minds are defeated.
