Although he grew up in a community where poverty and violence was all around him, Vice Ganda did his best to hide his true sexuality from his father, a barangay kagawad who would often maltreat his two older gay brothers, Lito (Zeppi Borromeo) and Babot (Alchris Galura). After tragedy struck their family and his mother left for the States to become a caregiver, Vice finally found the guts to come out of the closet.
