She suggests that they help each other to speed up the separation - for her unavoidable - between Hayley and Ted. Having passed to see Julia in the hospital, Lionel comes back home and discovers inanimate Caroline on the floor. Her tiredness seems to have regained the upper hand. Mason accepts a new phone call arranging an appointment the following day. When Kelly asks him for news, Mason lies to her by saying that calls have ceased for several days. He comes to visit Julia in the hospital, then packs his suitcases, without explaining to Victoria the reasons of his sudden departure. Jeffrey authorises Kelly to read Elizabeth's diary. She discovers a very mentally unstable woman there. She comes to the conclusion that she committed suicide with the steering wheel of her car.
