He nurses her back to health and falls in love with her. His brother Eben arrives, and eventually takes Aida and marries her. Al's father, believing he is about to die, gives his estate to Eben, who throws Al out into the world. Five years later, Eben places his father in an asylum and leaves his wife and child. Al hears what happened and goes to Aida, only to find she is near death. He then goes in search of his brother, and drags him home to Aida. Written by scsu1975 See less
