Not daring to upset her, Jeffrey accepts the request of Pamela to come to live with her for some months. Julia is furious after Mason has prevented her transfer to Boston. She expects that he announces his feelings for her. Victoria, in a second state because of the cocaine, exits the flat leaving Chip on his own having given leave to the baby-sitter. Alex gives Eden a part of Elena's agenda, but her address book is missing. Alex swears that he has never had it is his hands. But Eden gets confirmation that it was given to him after the trial. After an inquiry, Pearl discovers that Elena frequently saw a second psychiatrist and that she had another telephone record with a number she called regularly in the desert. Keith does not succeed in finding Eden in the Capwell residence while none of his policemen saw her leaving it. He meets an architect having worked for the Capwells, who informs him under threat that he worked to repair the tunnel. The evening arrives, when Eden gets ready to use the tunnel to join Cruz, Keith appears, hidden inside the tunnel behind the library of C.C.'s office. He installed explosives to destroy her access.
