When Julia, Kelly and Jeffrey arrive to save Tori of her influence, Arcana offers them to join her on the beach. There, she pretends to discover a shirt covered with blood on the sand, which would have belonged to Mason. Arcana disappears immediately without anybody realising it. Cruz gives a young puppy to Eden, who decides to call her Hope. She and Carmen go to the Capwell guesthouse to see Cain and to help him remember the past. Cain remembers more and more about the mysterious woman who scared him at the time of his recovery after Vietnam. Eden shows him Elena's photo, by hoping that he recognises her as being this woman. Cruz takes a plan up with Pearl: he makes Elena believe that they are locked up in a desperate place and that certain death waits for them.
