She wonders if Ashley would even be back in Genoa City had Cole not gone after her in Madrid. Cole angrily puts Victoria in her place and orders her to stay out of his marriage. Despite this public vote of confidence Cole begins to wonder whether Ashley and Rafael are merely friends. Ashley and Jack grow frustrated as they fail to reach Brooke Logan at Forrester Creations who is avoiding their calls. Ashley then admits that she is having personal problems, but she doesn't trust her brother to confide in him because of the strain in their relationship. Megan is granted bail. D.A. Richards thinks Tony is a flight risk, though, and his bail is set at 20000 $. As long as Tony cannot put up with the money, he has to stay in jail... Nicholas phones Sharon as he and one of the search team pilots fly over the New Mexican terrain. Cassie is concerned for Nick and says that she bets Nick is afraid of losing one of his parents. Suddenly, Al calls and Sharon assures him that she and Nick are very interested in the information he is offering. Alice informs Michael that she thinks Mr. Morgenstern's visit was a success and that she made the social worker believe that Cassie means the world to her. Alice is still concerned though that Al could be up to something. Victor pleads with Chet, who is still holding a gun, but Chet says he cannot risk anyone finding out where Victor is located. Chet divulges that he used to run the research division of his father's company until it was shut down after being acquired by Newman Enterprises.
