Vilches has been in prison and helping out in the nursery while he waits for the result of the complaint his lawyer presented. Javier and Mónica are still together and she is now good friends with new doctor Lola and tells her she thinks she could be pregnant. Aimé is the hospital director, which has not been good for his relationship with Claudia; his new problems at the hospital include the nurses' strike and Isabel, Urgencias' new director. Héctor has begun a relationship with Susana. They are worried because she is an HIV carrier and Héctor could have the illness.
