She has decided to go to Africa and begin a new life far away from them. Carlos is recovering and Javier tells him that he actually might walk again if he takes rehabilitation. He tries to convince Laura to keep working at the hospital and give him another chance, but she has already made her decision. Teresa is also thinking of leaving the hospital because her husband asked her to retire. Another who might leave Central is Roman because his girlfriend Dominique is not happy in Spain and wants to return to her home country. Esther's daughter Patricia suffers a difficult illness, and Maca tells her that the best--maybe the only--solution is for her to have a new baby with Raúl who would donate what his/her big sister needs. Tomás, policeman and Mónica's ex-partner, is in involved in a case of corruption. Aimé is chosen as the new director of the Hospital with the votes of Eshter and Isabel, the new responsible of Urgencias. He makes incompatible promises to both to get their help. Vilches is sent to prison after the accusation of corruption.
