The ceremony at the beach goes along without any hitch. During the following celebration, the rivalry of the Forrester and Spectra quickly ignites, though, when Sally's son C.J. continues to pester Brooke's son Rick, formerly known as Eric Junior. Not all the guests are in a joyous mood: Taylor feels uneasy to see Brooke playing happy family with Ridge and the kids. Observing her unsuspecting daughter spending time with her boyfriend, Maggie begins to realize that her romance with Dylan will be a major blow to Jessica. Later, Macy surprises Thorne and the guests by singing a song in honor of her newly wedded husband. Thorne almost cries for joy because like everyone else he had assumed that Macy would never be able to sing again due to her illness. Thorne joins quickly joins his wife for a duet of "Always".
