But Cruz prefers sending Maggie to go and search and question him at first. He had intentions of going to bed with Laken, but finds himself handcuffed and driven to the police station. He suffers through various procedures, including a medical examination. C.C. arrives there, and then Mason arrives unnoticeably and finally joins them. In the hospital, Steve stays in Christie's room during the taking of the photos of her violated body. Mary and Theda try to comfort her. Steve asks her to get ready to testify against Ted and to follow him during the trial. Nick leaves the farm to phone Cruz to inform him that he is safe and sound with Kelly. He asks him to go there. But meanwhile, Kelly is surprised by the wrong Jack Lee's men who lock her up in their van. Nick finds them and, having hit one of them, tries to grab Kelly. But he is stunned by the other man. Both men go up to the vehicle, start it, and turn around towards Nick who is in a half conscious state on the ground, to crush him. See less
