The production was written by Anthony Wilkinson, who also plays the romantic lead. The story, which follows the success of Wilkinson's first hit, My Big Gay Italian Wedding, is about a Gay undercover police officer who falls for the local heart-throb while investigating a drug ring at a Staten Island Gay bar. The club, called "Potions," is populated by a cast of zany customers including a comical Fag Hag and a pair of fierce Drag Queens. Meet Wilkinson and actors Tom Baran, Kevin McIntyre, Randi Kaplan and Chad Kessler, and hear what they have to say about their roles in this colorful show that celebrates 80s pop culture. Next, the cast of Under the Pink Carpet joins their Diva correspondent Clover Honey at a unique Manhattan restaurant where dining is a Drag and the waitresses are also the stars! The eatery is called LIPS and is famous for its Drag Queen waitresses, impromptu floor shows, and festive decor that features drag queen photographs and accessories on the walls. In this historic report, Clover Honey presents her photograph to proprietress Yvonne Lame', who greets her at the door. Clover also mingles with patrons and "ladies" of the establishment, including Ariel Sinclair, Frankie Cocktail, Rajene, All-Beef Patty, Ginger, and Sultana. Then, lesbian correspondent Robin Cloud celebrates at the launch party for a new women's magazine called Velvet Park. The bash was theme named "High Heels and Hot Wheels" and featured as its special guests the Gotham Girls Women's Roller Derby league! Among these derby gals were Stevie Kicks and actress Ashlie Atkinson, best known for playing the hilarious Dyke in the queer cult flick, Another Gay Movie. Robin also interviews other Celesbians (Celebrity Lesbians) who were in attendance, including red-hot Sony/Twist recording artist Kirston Price, Velvet Park editor Grace Moon, and sensational showman and celebrity emcee, Mr. Murray Hill. Next, Tony Sawicki attends an event where the participants find friendship, community and pride through the sport of wrestling. Tony's report takes us to a Gay wrestling tournament sponsored by Metro Wrestling NYC. The report introduces several of the Gay athletes who actively compete in the sport. Hear what members of Metro Wrestling NYC (Nick Zymaris and coach Dale Cover) and the Philadelphia Spartans (Shaun Giberson and Ed Wengryn) have to say about how they became involved in Wrestling, and how this activity can provide members of our culture with an alternative opportunity for friendship, exercise, camaraderie . . . and fun! Finally, Tony covers the NYC premiere of a new hit movie called Coffee Date. At the Pioneer Cinema in New York's Alphabet City, Tony meets the film's writer/director Stuart Wade and the stars -- Oscar nominated Sally Kirkland and out comedian/television actor Jason Stuart. The movie examines, with hilarity, the sexual confusion that can occur when a Straight man forms a friendship with a Gay man.
