Ridge tries to mediate between the quarreling women. Taylor consults with James. Even if Brooke is doing better than to be expected, Taylor worries that the harsh reality of Eric and Stephanie being awarded custody could throw her for a loop. They are also concerned that Stephanie's rash behavior could make matters even more complicated. Back at the Forrester Mansion, Stephanie lets it slip that Brooke is no longer the legal guardian of the children. A shocked and furious Brooke accuses Stephanie of using her distress and stealing her kids. Ridge is equally angry with his mother. Jasmine confides in Michael that she fears that Dylan might be taking desperate measures to earn his tuition money.
