The ...See moreIf Wesley Westbrook, a struggling young architect, can get his plans accepted for a big office building, his future will be assured, he will be able to marry Isobel Franklin and send her father to a milder climate for his health. The decision on the plans rests with Stanley Simmonds, a wealthy builder, in whose office Isobel is employed. Simmonds proposes to Isobel, but she tells him she loves Wesley. Rev. Franklin is stricken and must go south. Isobel decides to sacrifice her happiness and weds Simmonds to save her father's life. She tells the builder she will wed him, and explains the reason for her change of mind.
