He makes.a.kimd of peace with his father. As Lomax leaves the cemetery he is met by DCS Sullivan, who again, advises him to leave his patch and also let's him know they are aware that his journalist friend Robinson is digging into certain ex-police officers, and he should refrain Lomax meets Robinson and lets him know what Sullivan suggested, Robinson takes the advice as encouragement. Meanwhile Pember meets another ex-colleague from the Met. Lomax, finally agrees to meet with Pember, and they have a very interesting conversation. Pember is later confronted by Robinson, and he informs Pember that the case which led to Lomax being jailed, is to be reopened by the Commissioner. Later that night, Lomax receives a message allegedly from Robinson, telling Lomax to meet him at Pember's place. However, when Lomax arrives, there is no.sign of Rpbinson, but there is someone.else waiting for him and could get Lomax 25 years to life in prison if he doesn't get away quickly.
