He angrily discharges the young man, and does his best to force his daughter to marry a wealthy suitor. Anarchists plot to take Sinclair's life. Travis accidentally learns that one of the band has been appointed to execute the death sentence, but he is captured by the band before he can warn Sinclair. However, he risks his life in a daring way, and succeeds in escaping from his captors, arriving just in time to save Sinclair's life.
