At the same time another friend, Justin Marsh a former race car driver is in town for a car show. Dan notices a woman following Marsh so he asks her what she wants she tells him to back off. Later someone takes a shot at Dan. He goes to the woman and sees Nelson with her and she tells him that Matsh may have been involved with his friend's death. She reveals that Marsh after his career ending accident was approached by man who convinced him to aid him with illegal businesses. His friend may have been involved with Marsh's activities and wanted out which is why he was killed. Dan doesn't believe it but when he checks Marsh out he changes his mind.
