However, Gadget soon realizes this and helps his niece and dog. Then, Chief Quimby gives Gadget an assignment, it tells him that Dr. Claw is planning on participating in the Metropolis 500, in which the winner will take a $10,000 prize, which Dr. Claw plans on using to finance crime.
