He uses his connections and eventually finds the man, who denies being her father. While Cary tries to find a way to help her, he takes her in and bonds with her. A woman from St. Louis calls asking for help to locate someone. She meets with Daisy and tells her that she's about to get married but a letter sent to her by an old boyfriend 7 years ago just arrived and in it, he professes his love for her.
