The telephone wires are down and it is imperative that she have the services of a doctor. Wendell Wilson, a once-rich man, but now a penniless wanderer, singles out Mrs. Harrison's house to rob. She catches him and sends him for the doctor. After the physician departs, Mrs. Harrison thanks Wilson and he tells her of his misfortune. He asks the widow to give him a photo of her little daughter, which she does. Five years later he returns, wealthy, and tells the widow of his love, and she confesses hers.
