As a photo reporter for the local newspaper, the woman, who is as attractive as she is self-confident, keeps her head above water. However, the big news in the sleepy town is limited to rabbit breeding competitions and accidents at the local driving school, which is owned by Moni's ex-husband Rudiger. One day, however, the rumor spread that the traditional Pløtzwerke, manufacturer of electric shavers and the largest employer in the area, was about to go bankrupt. In fact, old Pløtz is forced to sell his company to a foreign investor. There is a lot of excitement among the workforce, as the men rightly fear for their jobs. Finally, in a spectacular action led by the works council Manfred, the workers occupied the factory to protest against the planned sale. Meanwhile, the Lusgraf women are approaching the problem in a more constructive way. Under Moni's leadership, they are looking for solid ways to make Pløtzwerke competitive again. Inspired by the thriving trade in erotic articles that her friend Ilona runs under the counter of her dry cleaner, Moni finally comes up with the brilliant idea: Instead of old-fashioned razors, Pltøzwerke should rather produce modern massage sticks - developed by women for women. With the support of a smart senior trio, including Moni's mother Ilse, development work begins on the "massage stick of the future". With an early "prototype" under their belt, the ladies finally find a potential investor in the influential Japanese entrepreneur Naoki. Now they only have to convince the Lusgraf macho men of their idea. However, that is easier said than done. The jealous Manfred, who has been in love with Moni for many years, sees Mr. Naoki primarily as a rival; and when Moni makes herself unpopular with the entire village community with an embarrassing photo of her friend Ilona, there seems to be no future for her and her big plan in Lusgraf anyway. But a woman like Moni doesn't give up that easily. See less
