She is the first woman to come to Red Dog Gulch, and the residents of the Arizona town prepare to welcome her in their glad rags. When she does come they find she does not come up to the photograph and after an indignation meeting demand an explanation of Hans. He shows the photograph and explains that he forgot to tell that the picture was made in 1883. Minna pursues all the men and they fight shy of the Delmonico, bringing Hans to the verge of bankruptcy. A horse thief is captured and they are about to lynch him when Pete suggests that they make him marry Minna. After he has seen her the thief begs them to lynch him, but they are hard-hearted and refuse. He is married to Minna and with tearful farewells they ship them out of camp.
