Mitch and Matt get involved into helping a young villager, named Mai, who is harassed by her insanely jealous suitor, Mako, who's the only one not very enthusiastic to have Mitch and Matt in the village. Back on the North Shore, Logan tries to make it up to Caroline to show her that she does matter in his life aside from the upcoming surfing competition, and Stephanie persuades Carlton to return the piece of lava rock back to its natural places to remove the spell of bad luck on him.
