Rosa Camilla's father, Gov. Leandro Montemayor (Eddie Garcia), uses his power to take her away from the son of his political rival, Cong. Carlos Valiente (Vic Vargas). What makes this compelling tale of love, conquest, and revenge all the more intriguing is the struggle among Gov. Leandro's three women--Iluminada (Liza Lorena), his legal wife, to whom he has three children, Ernestina (Princess Punzalan), Alberto (Raymond Bagatsing), and Paloma (Alessandra de Rossi); Czarina (Gloria Diaz), the original mistress and mother to Lucinda (Ara Mina) and Amanda (Sharmaine Arnaiz); and finally Alicia (Hilda Koronel), the love of Leandro's life and mother to Rosa Camilla. The story begins with the failed murder attempt on the governor's life and consequently makes the three women and all their children suspects in the investigation.
