Puffy, on a walking trip around the world, hangs on the spare tire on the ...See moreGopher Gus, roaring bad man, descends upon a dance hall saloon and holds the crowd at bay while he gives an exhibition of his great strength to intimidate all men. Puffy, on a walking trip around the world, hangs on the spare tire on the rear of the speeding car, is thrown off and rolls down a hill, breaks through the wall of the saloon and bumps into the Gopher, knocking him out. He becomes a hero and is idolized by Mildred of the dreamy eyes. The Gopher swears to get Puffy and sends him a note warning him to get out of the territory. Puffy walks to the general store with Mildred and is threatened by another bad man who claims the girl as his sweetie. Puffy is chased by the bad man, but eludes him, running into Gopher. In an effort to escape the latter, he jumps on a bronco that carries him on a wild ride and then throws him over a fence. Puffy flies through the air and lands on the two bad men. They pick themselves up and flee from him while he follows, shooting. The girl again hails him as her hero and they go on their way to the minister.
