She is sitting on the bank of a lake, and two of her admirers are contending for her favor. She throws a rose into the water and declares, "Who gets the rose, gets me." There is a wet half hour after that. Her sweetheart comes along and asks her to go for a ride in his car. She is delighted and goes into the house to change her gown. While he is waiting for her, Hank slugs his chauffeur over the head, takes his cap and goggles, and gets into his seat. Reggie and Gertie climb into the tonneau and spoon while Hank, as the chauffeur, drives them all over the town. Finally, he drives right off the end of a pier and the joy ride ends in the ocean.
