This is the news that brings Ham and Bud to their country's aid. And a motley aggregation is the Second Brigade, in command of General Ham, aided by Bud. Ham directs the operations of war from a hill-top with his chef and drink-mixer at his side. All goes well until Ham and Bud decide to go up in an aeroplane to look the field of battle over. The ride is a perilous one at best but when the guns of the enemy find their mark Ham and Bud come tumbling down with just enough breath to mutter, "Never Again. Sherman was right."
