After the birth of their son Anand ,Sadashiv feels things will be better between the two but that does not happen.During one of Anand's birthday's Sadashiv leaves the house in frustration when the two women quarrel he meets with accident and passes away.Saku leaves the house after his death but later she and Gangamaushi patch up to bring up Anand and make him a doctor to full fill Sadashiv's dream.Anand becomes a doctor and marries a wealthy Neela but she feels difficult to adjust in the family leading back to the quarrels.
