She meets a young and handsome automobilist, who, after he leaves her home, asks to call again. After he has gone Maggie discovers that she has lost her mistress' mesh bag. The next morning the young man, wishing to return the bag, and unaware of Maggie's masquerading, sends a note to Mrs. Swallers, asking if she will receive him and to wave from the window if she will. Mr. Swallers gets the note, waves, and raves when he gets the young man indoors, accusing his perfectly innocent wife of flirting, until Maggie enters the scene and claims the young man as her sweetheart.
