Somethings got to be done to turn things around, so the paper's owner/published Alyssa Jarreau turns to her top two reporters (Meekah and Randy Spears). She gives them the assignment to come up with a killer scoop within 24 hours and whoever doesn't find one is fired! The intrepid reporters go their separate ways, but soon end up pursuing the same case.
