When silversmith Pancho García returns to town, he attends a meeting of the opposition party, the Popular Political Party. Due to the lack of candidates, he is chosen by the others and agrees to run against Don Valentín, being tired of his arrogance and abuses. What he doesn't know is that behind his back, Doña Eduviges has been trying to marry her beautiful niece Rosario, Pancho's fiancee, to Don Valentín, being his most fervent admirer. Rosario herself would never change Pancho for the much older Don Valentín, but she knows of Pancho's many indiscretions. See less
