She, in turn, is in love with decent and honorable Johnnie Raeburn (Hardie Albright), but is compromised by caddish Charles Morrell (Walter Byron), also a reknown polo player. To avenge his daughter's betrayal, Captain Steele engages Morrell in a polo game that ends in in the caddish blackguard's death---an act of deliberate manslaughter by Steele.
