She agrees, but upon discovering his duplicity, she turns him over to the police. Janet enters the U. S. Secret Service and is detailed to uncover the source of a "leak" in the sailing of troop transports; believing that Eddie has been killed in a wreck, she falls in love with Corbin, her superior. Meanwhile, Eddie escapes from prison, joins Slavin, of whose Secret Service affiliation he is unaware, and accepts a job with some German agents in New York. Janet discovers that Louis, Corbin's cook, is a German spy and pretends that she herself is a Hun agent. Complications ensue when Eddie attempts to rob Corbin's safe. Janet radios for aid from the spy headquarters and is rescued by Corbin, whom she marries after the death of her husband. Written by Pamela Short See less
